Begin your livecampWORX

In our book, "So You Want to Work Camp?", you will get a much more detailed list of the how to and what for fulltime camping and working, but for now, here is a taste.

Who? Generally it will be you are your spouse, sometimes it will be children, much less it could be friends or additional family not directly related to you.

What? So this is a about what type of camper unit. Do you want a driving RV, or a 5th wheel or a travel trailer? Each has it's pros and cons. For reference, most folks weekend camp in a travel trailer, motorhomes are for weekends to 6 months and 5th wheels are for 6 months plus.

When? Fulltiming takes a long time to prepare to do well. We prepared for 6 months and liquidated a 12400 square foot house and 1500 sq ft garage. We spent a month with rummage sales and then asked an auction house to come and get what didn't sell. They did and sent us a check!

Where? Ideally, we started in our driveway. We got the RV in top form, then began moving in.

Why? Duh.

How? We moved in one armful at a time. Completely empty, the RV accepted us and our daily necessities, we would bring in soap, shampoo, towels , clothes and shoes as we needed them. Dishes too, cups, forks and spoons as well as food items. We put the discarded items in the laundry and trash, the food in the refrigerator and cabinets, the toiletries.., well, in the toilet area, shower and vanity. We spent a month moving in, then we were ready! We moved into a campground for our first livecampWORX experience. Finally we went to where we wanted to go, a thousand miles away.

This is our second motorhome and the van made a cozy area for extra space.
